The work was conceived about three years after Nicodemus had left Northern Ireland whilst studying management at London Business School (see resume).
It attempts to bridge two worlds: post-war Germany (pre- unification), the world he was born into, and Northern Ireland (prior to the Good Friday Agreement), the world where he came into his own as a theatre director and artist. The way the project was presented (see proposal) suggests two further worlds he tried to straddle at the time, namely the world of art on the one hand and the world of business (management) on the other.
