I have dedicated much of my artistic and political life to working with factual, counterfactual, and fictional narratives, as well as with hybrid forms that merge genres and cut across disciplinary boundaries.
My work is grounded in the knowledge that life is narrative, that we express ourselves and empower others in time and through narrative, and that, ultimately, it is the individual and collective narratives we leave behind – our biographies and shared histories – that define and confirm us.
