Childhood
Not all creative acts results in a work of art. Some result in the birth of a child, the invention of a new product, the creation of a new company – or indeed in destruction, mass destruction even. Not all creative acts are inherently good.
The 16 pieces by Nicodemus included in this section have been selected, not because of their artistic or literary merit, but because he sees in them the emerging contours of an aesthetic that he cherishes and has returned to time and again throughout his life in art.
