'Machine Gun Paintings'

The core of this project consists of 12 'machine gun paintings', that is, paintings which are ‘painted’ with an actual machine gun, fired from a distance at steel plates.
Nicodemus conceived this project around the time of his graduation from business school. It is easily his most aggressive work to date and reflects his growing sense of alienation and anger at the time.
The project remains unrealised. Were he to return to it today, it is likely that he would reframe/update it conceptually.
