Durational Performance
b/reach

B/reach was the first project in the Permanent Mobilisations series.
B/reach engages with the politics of representation, utilising the 2015 UK General Election and the political discourses that surrounded it as its starting point.
During April 2015, Nicodemus recruited 24 volunteers, willing to participate as imaginary representatives of the Polterparty in the run-up to that election. Those who participated had their picture taken and a series of posters was produced.
A few days before the election these posters then started popping up around London. Whilst they were up Nicodemus engaged passers-by in conversations about politics and its nature.
The material thus generated (the posters, documentation of posters in situ, comments made by passers-by, etc) has been processed, organised and achieved for future use (see MotF+THC).
